Dr. Yu Zhang is Senior Principal AI Engineer and CTO for Intel China Network and Edge Group.
Dr. Zhang joined Intel in 2002. Currently, he is working on Edge Computing and Deep Learning solution innovation based on Intel’s Processors and AI accelerators for IoT and Network usage such as Public Safety & Security, Smart Manufacture, Smart Retail, Smart Transportation, 5G-A and 6G Network, etc.
He is Chairman of Testbed Working Group in Edge Computing Consortium and Intel’s delegate in IEEE P2805 Working Group which is working on standard definition for “Cloud-edge Collaboration protocols for machine learning”. He is an expert committee member of World Economic Forum.
Dr. Zhang got his PhD degree from Tsinghua University in 2000. He is member of IEEE and China Computer Federation.
