Tommy Foo is the Senior Director, International Marketing APJ at Acronis, with an extensive background in marketing technology and management across APJ and MEA regions. His career encompasses transformative roles at leading firms such as Grab, Johnson Controls, and LinkedIn, where he led initiatives driving digital innovation and customer engagement.
In his current role at Acronis, Tommy steers marketing operations, orchestrating product, demand generation, and partnership strategies to bolster market presence and business growth. His strategic leadership at Grab resulted in significant brand development and driver network expansion, while at LinkedIn, he pioneered in deploying Direct-to-Consumer platforms and AI-driven analytics.
Tommy's commitment to the marketing and technology sectors extends beyond his corporate responsibilities. He serves as a Distinguished Fellow at the Nanyang Centre for Marketing and Technology, where he contributes to bridging the gap between academia and industry practices. CK is a senior Business Strategy, and Digital Transformation leader with extensive international experience in digitalization strategy, solutions architecture, program management, business and operations process transformation.
As a CEO of AllThingsConnected, founder of IoTSG, CK works with organizations create their digitalization strategy & roadmap, solutions and ecosystem plans, skills transformation to accelerate their current state to future state digital journey.
CK has shared expert insights at 130+ leadership forums, and prestigious international conferences. He advises senior leaders on how advanced technologies can prime enterprises for the future. Terence Wong, Head of APAC 5G Industry & IoT, GSMA
Terence drives the GSMA IoT and 5G programmes in the APAC region, heading the APAC 5G Industry Community with 1000+ members from government, mobile operators, hundreds innovator and ecosystem players. The community is focus to support innovation and digital transformation on Manufacturing, Healthcare, Logistics, Port & Transportation, Energy, Mining & Utility, Smart City and Public sector. Worked for IT/Telco industry over twenty years, Terence has strong and board experiences on telecom industries experiences on infrastructure, product development and management, consultancy, sales and marketing. He has worked for multinational companies such as Fujitsu, Nokia, and served as the architect, consultant, product lead and head of BSS/OSS in the Asia region.
Terence has Bachelor of Engineering (Electronic Engineering) in Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and Master of Business Administration (Information Technology Management) in Hong Kong Polytechnics University, previously certified as Project Management Professional (Project Management Institute).
Dr PS Tang, Steering Committee Member, GTI
Dr PS Tang had being serving as a Steering Committee member of GTI since 2012.
Dr PS Tang have contributed in the harmonising of the WiMAX 2.X standard to TD-LTE when he was the Founding Director of Packet One Network Malaysia.
Dr PS Tang have being promoting dedicated Private LTE after he became the Managing Director of Arete M Pte Ltd to provide Mission Critical Communication with low and consistent latency for mobile robotic control and with toal isolation form the internet and public network.
Lately, Dr PS Tang have taken up the leadership role in pushing GTI to provide advisory services to assist operator members and vendors in using their successful reference deployments to promote to other countries to increase 5G monetisation.
Dr Gao Yujia, Vice Chairman, Holomedicine Association
Dr Gao Yujia is the Assistant Group Chief Technology Officer of the National University Health System, Dr Gao spearheads various projects including the development of Holomedicine, Mixed Reality devices, and applications for medical education and clinical medicine.
He is also the Vice Chairman, and Director of Science, Medicine and Technology of the Holomedicine Association, which is an international association aimed at bringing together expertise from around the world to advance the science of Mixed Reality and its application in clinical medicine.
He is also a Consultant at the Adult Liver Transplantation Programme, National University Centre for Organ Transplantation, and Division of Hepatobiliary & Pancreatic Surgery, Department of Surgery at National University Hospital.
Apart from his clinical work, Dr Gao is deeply involved in undergraduate medical education at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, serving as the Deputy Director, Undergraduate Medical Education and is responsible for the planning and execution of the surgical posting for final year medical students.
Neelesh Maglani, Chief Technologist and Regional Business Development Lead (APJ) - 5G Telco Core to Edge Cloud, HPE
More than 23+ years of experience being thought leader on Telco Digital Transformation, leading 5G Telco Cloud initiatives from Core to Edge, associated solutions on NFV, SDN, IoT and MEC platforms. Extensive experience as Enterprise / Telecom Architect, Strategic business development, solutions leader and evangelist in Asia Pacific, India, Japan and Middle East regions.
Currently based in Singapore and enabling > 1B$++ plus worth of revenue for HPE’s Telco Cloud infra and solutions business within APJ region as strategic business lead and CT and provide sales and technical value proposition of HPE offerings at CxO levels.
Familiar and extensive technical understanding of ETSI, CNTT, DMTF and 3GPP based Telco standards, worked on ETSI NFV stack positioning of HPE end to end 4G/5G Core and RAN infra offerings with partnerships of Nokia, Ericsson, Samsung, Affirmed platforms, Rich Media Communication, VAS Transformation, Convergent Charging with Legacy IN, IMS LTE network, Subscriber Data Consolidation, Service Orchestration, API Management, Big Data Analytics, Hybrid IT and Cloud Enablement framework for Telco delivering B2B, B2B2C Enterprise solutions.
Extensive experience on Telco standards like SS7, SIP, INAP CAMEL, IMS, 3GPP, Diameter and working knowledge on Telecom applications languages like VXML/CCXML, SIP MSCML, and NETANN with extensive solution design and deployment planning.
Familiar with Industry IoT standards like 3GPP, OneM2M, OPC UA, MQTT, LWM2M, TR069, CoAP with many network connectivity over LPWAN, WIFI, BLE, NB-IOT, SIGFOX etc.
Joined Hewlett Packard in July 2007, as Solutions Architect and Lead for OpenCall Software, WW alliances group and subsequently promoted to lead various products and portfolio domains as part of HPE Software and Services Business Unit, served various Telco customers across India, South East Asia and Middle East.
Konesh Kochhal, Director, Industry Ecosystem Engagements, Huawei APAC
Konesh brings over 22 years of ICT Industry experience. Having worked in more than 30 countries in Asia, Australia, Europe and Africa, he has been successful in building and leading large data networks and business portfolios. Proven expertise in conceptualizing and integrating commercial models and technology platforms to deliver desired customer experience. In-depth experience in Digital economy and NICT frameworks, policy ecosystems, Program Management, Technical Strategies, Commercial Model Development & Governance, Planning and Rollouts of MBB Networks and Spectrum Management.
Prior to joining Huawei, his key roles included leading the Data Business for Airtel Africa and MBB Networks for Airtel India.
Konesh holds ACE (EPGM) from MIT Sloan School of Business, US and a BE(Hons) degree in Electronics and Electrical Engineering from BITS, Pilani, India.
Alvin Poo, Regional Sales Director, Quectel Wireless Solutions
Alvin Poo is the Regional Sales Director and responsible for Quectel in South East Asia. Alvin has spent the last 20 years in the electronics market ranging from Semiconductor, Embedded System, Managed Service to System Integrator roles.
Prior to joining Quectel in 2019, Alvin has been managing the APAC business for Digi International focusing on M2M market since 2010. Before joining Digi International, Alvin works in a Singtel subsidiary company and have been involved in managed services business. Alvin started his career in the semiconductor industry since 1999 and was responsible for IC design service, IP licensing and Embedded system business till 2008.
Alvin graduated from Nanyang Technological University with a Mechatronics Degree and hold an MBA from University of Bradford.
Shawn Huang, Director of Sales & Marketing – Overseas, Robocore
Before entering the service robotics industry in 2018, Shawn accumulated a wealth of experience in the traditional hospitality sector, including roles in hotels, exhibition & events industry. This background has provided him with valuable insights into effectively applying artificial intelligence in real service scenarios. With an active and creative mindset, Shawn excels in architecting practical solutions for robot utilization, specializes in uncovering opportunities for cross-industry collaborations and building strategic partnerships within the market ecosystem.
