Ker Loon Ang currently leads Data Solutions at Publicis Groupe China’s specialist arm EDGE. He is lead product architect for media, creative and influencer driven product innovations. Since joining in 2017, Ker Loon has leveraged his experience in rolling out award-winning ad-tech solutions, winning consecutive CampaignAsia Most Valuable Product (MVP) awards in 2022 and 2023 for AI-driven innovation for advertising.
A true global advertising & marketing professional with a focus on APAC markets, including more than 13 years based in mainland China, his passion for disruption is fueled by his unique background which spans media, adtech and martech. One of his product remits, Content Asset Management Platform (CAMP), recently won CampaignAsia’s Most Valuable Product 2023. It uses the power of Generative AI, machine learning and automated modelling to meet needs of ‘content-commerce’, where short video, social, livestreaming and personalized algorithms drive immediate sales. One platform alone, Douyin (the “Chinese TikTok”), commands more than US$200BN of ecommerce revenue.
Ker Loon is currently part of a distinguished jury panel of industry experts in China Advertising Association’s (CAA) most recent initiative launched, the Golden Measurement Certification. It is aimed at elevating the quality of China digital advertising standards through strict qualification measures covering criteria such as implementation of industry measurement standards, commercial transparency and accountability, and advertising effectiveness.
